I had no idea I had this treasure in my neighborhood! I have driven by for over 7 years and never gone in until today. Shame on me!!! They have 'everything' any artsy/crafty person could want and were so helpful and quick. This is now my 'go-to' for any art related materials.

Great independent art supply store! Large selection of art staples (paints, all kinds of pens, papers, screen printing supplies) plus lots of random things you probably wouldn't have on your list but you'd end up buying just because. My only gripe is that they close at 5 pm.

This is a GREAT store! Tons of art supplies of all kinds, I never know what I'm going to find here - graphite pencils glow in the dark fabric paint for airbrush, wonderful paper selection and paints, GREAT prices. I LOVE this store and would spend a fortune here if only I had it. And the people are very nice and helpful.

I've already been twice in one day that's how much I love this store!! I had just been to a chain "art" store when I came across I'VE BEEN FRAMED, I couldn't get over the price difference. The oil paints were over 45% cheaper AND the gallery style PRIMED for oil canvas' were over 56% cheaper than what I had just seen in Michael's! The primed canvas at I've Been Framed was actually cheaper than the unprimed canvas at the chain store!! Are you seeing how seriously amazing their prices are!??!?!? And, as an extra bonus, many of their art supplies are locally made. In just two quick trips, I've Been Framed saved me over $100! THANK YOU I've Been Framed for existing for the true artists out there!!

Great Neighborhood Arts Store We love this store. We live in the neighborhood and we are always popping in for art activities for our kids or to pick up a birthday gift before a party. We find all kinds of neat art and other related supplies. We've also had a couple of pieces framed very nicely here. Prices are great. Atmosphere is comfortable. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

wow what a great place needed to custom frame a comic print, wasnt sure what i was about to get myself in to, especially when its for a birthday. so i did some research and stumbled upon a different review someone did about another place that mentioned 'i'd rather goto ive been framed'. so i googled the i've been framed and now, after visiting this place, and getting the frame done, im in awe on how easy and great this place was. i also walked out with some other art supplies... so all in all... the best gift ive been able to give thus yet. YAY! :)

Not Just a Framing Shop I've driven by this place scores of times, even visiting the post office around the corner, without stopping in. I always assumed it was a framing shop. Boy, was I wrong! They have so much stuff. It's the best art supply store I've found in Portland so far. I really like Muse on Hawthorne and Collage has some wonderful things that target their niche, but for sheer volume of materials and price, this place can't be beat. Did I mention the prices? They have good specials and they discount overstocks so we starving creative types can get our art on easier. Great staff answered every question, and they actually know what they're talking about. Kudos for this store and its peeps.
